Welcome to Samuell's ROTC

Home of the 12th Battalion!

The 12th Battalion Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps at W.W. Samuell High School was established in 1957. Our program is designed to teach and instill leadership and character development throughout its curriculum. The program gives students the opportunity to learn and apply leadership skills. JROTC does not recruit for the Armed Forces. It is an elective class offering PE Credit for the students who successfully complete the course.

Mission:

To motivate young people to become better citizens.
